Che Jamilah has over 15 years of experience in management, marketing, training, and development in industries including financial services, marketing, sales, and higher learning education.
Formerly the Head of AMAL Academy, the training arm under Commerce Life Berhad (subsidiary of Commerce Asset Berhad), Che Jamilah was the Leader of the Business Reengineering Team involved in the business transformation of the company. Her core responsibility was in Process Reengineering and in transforming the culture of the process owners to promote the changed process. This project alone had given her a lot of change management experience.
Her expertise was premised on the experience gained while she was undergoing an Executive Development Program in London Life Co., Ontario, Canada. In Canada, she was involved in formulating and conducting a Change Management Training Plan for the newly merged entity. Besides being the Leader of the Business Reengineering Team, she was also responsible for leading a training team formulating and implementing a training plan for the company employees, sales force and its business partners. Among her achievements was leading a team in setting up and developing the Financial Planners Development Program placed at Bumiputra Commerce Bank Berhad.
Che Jamilah has a Master's Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas, U.S.A. Her Bachelors
Degree was earned from the University of Tennessee, U.S.A. Before joining the corporate world, Che Jamilah
was a Senior Lecturer at University Technology MARA and a Consultant responsible for developing Life Insurance Agency Force. Her other work experience includes being the Sales Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics, responsible for developing and training the Sales Force based in Malaysia and Singapore.
Che Jamilah had worked as a Lecturer in Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas, U.S.A. for two years. She was also the Independent Marketing Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics in Nacogdoches, Texas, U.S.A. Her responsibilities include marketing the company products and training the Sales Force. Leveraging on her field experience in the areas of Sales, Sales Management and Change Management acquired locally and abroad, Che Jamilah had set up PBT Consultants Sdn. Bhd to concentrate on helping organizations increase their business values through full optimization of their human capital.
